The Marina Police Activities League (Marina PAL) is a chapter of the California Police Activities League, and has the privilege of serving youth and their families throughout California. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working to foster positive relationships and build bonds between youth and police officers.
The Marina PAL mission is to unite law enforcement and communities by providing educational, athletic and life enriching youth programs that develop discipline, positive self-image, mutual trust and respect. The three main objectives of the program are:
- Promote health, well-being and future success of youth and officers in the community
- Prevent youth from entering the juvenile justice system
- Protect our community by building bonds between the officers and youth
Marina PAL is staffed by law enforcement officers & a volunteer Board of Directors who network within their respective communities to create collaborative relationships with youth.
Currently, Marina PAL works with the City of Marina to offer a Police Explorers program, youth sports programming such as basketball, track & field, and summer skateboard camps. We also partner with the Junior Giants Foundation to provide youth baseball and softball.
